Asphalt Maintenance
Our Yearly Asphalt Maintenance Program ensures the longevity and durability of your paved surfaces through comprehensive repairs and preventative care.
- Patching involves the excavation of failed asphalt areas, removal of damaged material, subgrade compaction, and the application of a tack coat before restoring the surface with 5″ of compacted full-depth asphalt.
- Crack Sealing addresses cracks ¼” or wider, cleaning them thoroughly and filling them with a hot-pour, rubberized sealer to prevent water infiltration and further damage. We also seal transition cracks between concrete and asphalt to maintain a seamless, protected surface.
Regular maintenance extends the life of your asphalt and prevents costly repairs.

Street Sweeping
The Town owns a street sweeper that is deployed quarterly, weather permitting.
Street sweeping not only makes the streets cleaner, but it is also an important part of stormwater pollution prevention. It prevents unwanted materials from flowing into the storm drains and polluting our bays and causing backups and flooding. It also keeps job sites clean and safe and helps to minimize tire damage.
