Heads Up: Prescribed Burn Planned Ahead of Fourth of July Fireworks
The Town of Timnath’s Public Works team will be conducting a prescribed burn next week as part of preparations for the upcoming Fourth of July fireworks show.
Weather permitting, the burn is scheduled for Thursday, June 26, or Friday, June 27.
This burn is permitted by the County and State and is an important part of ensuring a safe and enjoyable Independence Day celebration. On the day of the burn, residents may see or smell smoke in the area.
