Timnath Seeks Community Feedback on Residential Solid Waste Collection Services

The Town of Timnath is inviting residents to participate in a community survey focused on residential solid waste collection services, including trash and recycling.

As Timnath continues to grow, the Town is exploring long-term considerations related to residential trash and recycling services and seeking community input to help shape future discussions. The survey is designed to better understand resident experiences, priorities and concerns regarding waste collection services in Timnath.

When evaluating residential waste collection services, communities often consider factors such as cost, service reliability, customer experience, roadway impacts from collection vehicles, recycling services and the ability for residents to choose their provider. The Town is seeking community input before determining whether further study should occur.

The survey includes questions about current service satisfaction, service-related priorities and perspectives on a potential single-hauler approach to residential waste collection, in which one provider is contracted to serve the community.
