Members of the Timnath community, elected officials from neighboring municipalities, Town Council members, and staff, were all present for the grand opening and ribbon cuttings at this well-attended and special event.

Before the official ribbon cutting for the Town Center, the staff enjoyed giving group tours of the beautiful new facility – 50% of which was designed to be available to the residents of Timnath as “community” space.  From the multi-purpose room and flex space, that can be reserved and rented by residents for gatherings, events, and meetings, to the common areas and comfortable lobby, guests were excited about this much needed addition to to the Town.

After welcoming remarks by Mayor Jill Grossman-Belisle, Councilman Aaron Pearson performed the National Anthem.  The Mayor then thanked the many team members, that made the dream of this new building a reality before cutting the red ribbon to officially declare the new Town Center open.  From there guests enjoyed food, refreshments, and conversation until a second ribbon cutting for the state-of-the-art Council Chambers was complete.  The first Town Council meeting got underway to close out the evening.  Photos of the event can be seen below.
