Update 5/3/19 – Phase 1 paving of the new eastbound lanes has been completed.  On MONDAY, MAY 6, all traffic will be moved to the new east bound lanes.  The following traffic patterns will be changed:

  • Eastbound traffic will move to the right thru lane approaching Three Bell
  • Westbound traffic will be shifted to the south side of the new median.  There will be significant lane shifts at Three Bell Parkway & Latham Parkway.  SPEED LIMIT REDUCED TO 15 MPH thru the intersections.
  • Eastbound, left turn lane at Club Drive.
  • No left turn lanes at Latham Parkway or westbound at Club Drive or Three Bell Parkway.  Left turns are permitted, so expect delays for turning vehicles.

Traffic signal installation at Latham Parkway is continuing.  Expect delays in the intersection as the mast arms & signals are installed.

Please Note: The construction work east of Latham Parkway is not a Town of Timnath project.  This work is being done by the Ridge at Harmony Subdivision for the Town of Windsor.  On TUESDAY, MAY 7, the Town of Windsor will be shifting traffic to the north portion of their construction (east of Latham Parkway).  This will increase the magnitude of the shift thru the Latham Parkway intersection.  PLEASE OBEY 15 MPH POSTED SPEED LIMIT THROUGH THE INTERSECTION and through the entire construction zone – regardless of whether workers are present or not.  The reduced speed limit is in force at all times and is for your safety as well as that of the construction workers.

Note: This is a major improvement project being performed on a section of road that experiences very heavy traffic volume – especially during peak commute times in the morning and the late afternoon.  Delays should be expected and alternate routes are advised.

Project Overview

Phase 4 of The Harmony Road improvements Project will begin in January of 2019 and is expected to be completed in August of 2019.  Improvements involve the reconstruction and widening of Harmony Road from Three Bell Parkway to Latham Parkway (AKA: LCR 1 or WCR 13).  The new road section will have 4 lanes, bike lanes, raised landscaped median, and intersection improvements at Club Drive & Latham Parkway.

The majority of the roadwork will occur in Spring & Summer of 2019, however due to required work on the Lake Canal crossing that must happen before irrigation resumes in Spring 2019, there is some work that must occur during late winter/early spring.  Traffic impact should be minimal during the winter, but delays should be expected.
