The Timnath Police Department has once again partnered with Walmart and is inviting you to participate in the 5th annual “Shop with a Cop” event!  This very special event will allow the department to help brighten the holidays, make Christmas fun, exciting, and memorable, for area families in need.

How it works . . . On December 11, kids in the program will team up with a Timnath police officer to do some holiday shopping at the Timnath Walmart.  They will be able to choose and buy a gift for their siblings, their parents, and one for themselves. Families will also be given gift cards to purchase additional gifts, food and household supplies. Before the shopping begins, Subway will provide breakfast for the families and, of course, Santa will make an appearance for pictures with the kids!

If you would like to be a part of making an unforgettable Christmas possible for others this year, we invite you to help out with donation of any size.  Checks, made payable to Walmart can be dropped off at the Timnath Town Center, 4750 Signal Tree Drive, or at the Timnath Police Department, 4800 Goodman Road.  (Donations can also be mailed to: Timnath Police Department, 4800 Goodman Rd. Timnath, CO. 80547, ATTN: Shop With a Cop) If you’d like additional information about the event please contact Sergeant Robert Wynkoop at (970) 224-3211.

The “Shop with a Cop” program has helped make Christmas “unforgettable” for participating families over the past few years!  Our heartfelt thanks to all who have donated in the past!
