Timnath Reservoir Closed for Aquatic Use Due to E. coli
September 20, 2024
The water at Timnath Reservoir has exceeded the state standard for E. coli and is closed for all aquatic use. For your safety, the State of Colorado advises against any water-contact activities for you and your pets, including swimming, wading, and fishing.
We will continue to monitor and test these levels weekly and will update you with any changes. All non-water activities are allowable, and the reservoir will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for hiking, walking, bird watching, etc.
