**Building Department COVID-19  UPDATE – Please Read**

Due to rapidly changing directives on the Federal, State, and local levels concerning the spread of the Coronavirus and COVID-19, the Town is enacting emergency safety measures to limit person to person interactions as much as possible. Effective immediately and for the foreseeable future, the Timnath Building Department will be transitioning to 100% online/digital operations.

The department is available by phone (970-224-3211) and/or email (buildings@timnathgov.com) to answer any questions or concerns you may have and to  guide you through the online submittal process. The Town is working closely with SAFEbuilt, the Town’s Building Official, to efficiently continue to review and process permits. Additional instructions will be provided through the plan review process to access and share permit documents. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time of transition as we enact and refine these procedures. Please know that we will continue to strive to give you the best quality building permit services as possible.

SAFEbuilt will only be performing new construction and unoccupied structure inspections until further notice. Please check back periodically for updates.
